Sweet and Sour Sauce

4 tbs Seasoned Rice Vinegar
1/3 Cup Water
3 tbs  raw cane sugar
1 1/2 tbs Tamari
1 ½ tbs Ketchup
1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbs Cornstarch

3 tbs water, to dissolve the corn starch                                           

In a small saucepan, add all of the ingredients with the exception of the cornstarch and water.  Heat on low until sugar dissolves. Mix cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of water and add to sauce. Turn up heat to medium and stir until the sauce thickens. Sauce should be thick, but not too thick.  So add more water, if needed.  Take off heat and set aside.
